On October 16, 2018 BLAS in Africa was invited to
the 107.0 FM Radio Maria’s show " Mouvements et Associations" at.
This program is a showcase for the groups and associations of the Yaoundé
Diocese. It is about presenting them to the general public and talking about
their projects and activities. And of course, who better than the concerned to
make this presentation in live on the radio. For the occasion, the team of BLAS
in Africa was made up of the SG Stéphane LONTSI and two volunteers including
Annie ZEBAZE and Mussolini KEMZONG.
The presenter Martin Anicet SEME started with questions about the origins and objectives of BLAS in Africa. once again, we underlined the dream oh this group of young people convince that education is the key to success and for that reason have deceided to set up a non-profit association for the promotion and protection of the right to education. today more than ever it is so true as the society leaves almost no room for ignarance but especially because gaps in terms of education are sources of chaos.
As a result, the projects and
activities of the association were discussed. The volunteers had the
opportunity to give the benefits of being a volunteer at BLAS in Africa. It
must be said that the first good thing about being a volunteer is the joy and
sense of accomplishment that one feels when he sees the positive impact of his
action on others. Of course, come after physical benefits such as the trainings
we have benefited or the experience in drafting and project animation that we
have acquired. One could say that the auditors were really marked by the
association and its volunteer program considering the questions that were asked
by them during the show. They wanted to know: "Who can be a volunteer
at BLAS in Africa?” “How to become a volunteer?” "Can
one work and be a volunteer?” “How are volunteer services done?”
"Is it still possible to apply for volunteer service at BLAS in Africa? ".
All these concerns and
many others were enlightened and the listeners were warmly invited to join the
team of volunteers of the association. It was a great experience for the
association, which was able to convey its message about the importance of
education even further. We thus hope that this message of the strength and
greatness of education has been carried to the furthest and has been a seed
that will come out with so much fruits.
