THE SUCCESS OF THE DOPOSCUOLA PROGRAM OF BLAS IN AFRICA AT 2018-2019 NATIONAL EXAMS

The coaches of DOPO SCUOLA can boast of having reiterated the feat, like their custom, to make a faultless in their roadmap. As a reminder, DOPOSCUOLA is a support and follow-up program for students in exam classes from underprivileged backgrounds. This program is in its fifth edition and the excitement continues to win the steering team, which welcomes a little more each year the results. Indeed, the 2018-2019 school year proved to be particularly busy, already due to the increase in the number of students, because the "DOPO SCUOLA" program has not only been limited to YAOUNDE; it has been experienced in other cities of Cameroon, especially in BAFOUSSAM and DSCHANG with an exclusively English-speaking section (Bafoussam).

However, that was not enough to curb the enthusiasm of the team, and mainly the framers; on the contrary, it was an opportunity for them to take up a new challenge, while contributing to a major socio-humanitarian cause. In reality, nothing beats the satisfaction of seeing a child succeeding in his examination. This team of young coaches has understood this, and takes pride in accomplishing this moral duty with panache.
On behalf of the 2018/2019 school year, 432 young people from the various cities raised benefited from the program; thanks to the help of 23 coaches or 04 supervisors for the city of DSCHANG; 08 framers for the city of BAFOUSSAM and 11 framers for the city of YAOUNDE. This dedication was rewarded only by a success rate that was significantly higher than last year. As proof, 30 students in class 5, enrolled in the program's workforce, brilliantly succeed their first certificate, a success rate of 100%. In the same way, the 16 candidates to the GCEO level made the pride of their supervisors by inflating the percentage of success, which was also 100%. On the other hand, the GCE Advanced Level for French and English background proved to be more complicated, even if the figures remain better than those of last year. For this purpose, 70 and 64% respectively were recorded, and 80% in GCE for English speaking students.

Now very hopeful, Doposcuola has become one of the flagship buildings of Blas in Africa, association promoter of this program. Over time, the successes of the various examinations have consolidated the idea that school failure is not necessarily due to the students' inability to study, but simply to a lack of supervision. The dice are thus thrown for . f the new school year 2019/2020, which welcomes eminently the new enrolled in this program of school accompaniment, a new challenge to rewash from the framers, as students, to do as well, if not better than the previous year.
